Welcome to The Great War in 360°!
Explore 360° panoramas of battlefields during the Great War on the Western Front.
The menu on the left contains major operational sectors during the war, so it’s a good place to start if you are interested in a particular area of the Western Front.
Each sector will contain a map with icons that represent panoramas that you can visit. Once in the panorama, you can click on the Toggle Fullscreen icon to view in fullscreen for greater detail, and you can use your mouse wheel to zoom in and out (although the + and – controls on the bottom left can do it much faster.) Press the Esc button or click on Exit to return from fullscreen, and click the back button on your browser to return to the previous page.
There is now a movable text box that you can move up to the panorama window for easier navigation while you are reading the narration.
